PPP Stands for Point-to-Point Protocal and SLIP Stands for Serial Line Internet Protocal. They are used with TCP/IP programs such as Trumpet Winsock (on a PC) to allow you to connect to the Internet graphically using programs such as Netscape, Internet Explorer, Eudora, Free Agent, Teraterm etc. Chebucto offer PPP service to sustaining members ($100.00 per year accounts) along with the regular Lynx (text) setups.
